Jacinta Cording, Ph.D.
Dr Cording is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Canterbury, currently delivering courses in forensic psychology, research methods and statistics.
Her research focuses on prevention and rehabilitation approaches for sexual abuse and family harm.
She has a particular focus on the assessment and communication of offending risk, understanding what causes these types of behaviours, and what helps people to desist from offending.
Jacinta is a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA).
Jacinta helps to manage Stand Strong, Walk Tall client enquiries, and will be assisting with research and evaluation related to the service.
