Dr Christofferson is a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology and Director of Clinical Training at the University of Canterbury, and leads the SSWT research collaboration.
Dr Christofferson is also a Registered Clinical Psychologist. Her research focuses on the therapeutic and systemic prevention of sexual abuse, assessment and treatment approaches in justice settings, and strategies for measuring therapeutic change.
Dr Christofferson serves on the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) Secondary Prevention Committee, and is a member of the European Commission Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Network.
