Sarah Christofferson, Ph.D.

Dr Christofferson is a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology and Director of Clinical Training at the University of Canterbury, and leads the SSWT research collaboration.

Dr Christofferson is also a Registered Clinical Psychologist. Her research focuses on the therapeutic and systemic prevention of sexual abuse, assessment and treatment approaches in justice settings, and strategies for measuring therapeutic change.

​Dr Christofferson serves on the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) Secondary Prevention Committee, and is a member of the European Commission Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Network.
